Our services are designed to take the guesswork out of choosing a sign language interpreter. We can accommodate requests that require one interpreter to an entire team of interpreters. We specialize in the following settings:

• Private Industry - technology, business, medical, real estate, general contractors
• Conference coordination - we provide interpreters for local conferences, seminars, workshops, retreats and community events
• Post-Secondary Education - colleges, universities and trade schools
• Personal milestone events - weddings, funerals, birthday parties, bridal and baby showers

To begin, you will contact us and speak with Heather Mewshaw. She will work with you to understand the type of sign language interpreter you will need for your event. Based on your request, she will propose a quote for services and begin to search for your sign language interpreter(s). You will have the opportunity to review your quote and ask any questions you may have about our services.

Once you determine that Chesapeake Interpreting is the preferred provider for your event, we will provide you with written confirmation outlining the duration of services, agreed upon rates, other event -related and most importantly, the names of the interpreters that will be assigned to your event.
